My SHPE Bio
- Name: Roberto Enrique Olivares
- Occupation: Ph.D. student in Computer Science
- Why SHPE: “I joined because I realized how valuable the SHPE professional conferences and career fairs were to the job search after I finished my bachelors degree. Coming back to school I didn’t want to miss out on it again. It’s also a good way to get started in giving back to our hispanic community.”
- Interesting about me: “My parents are from Chile, I grew up there and in Miami, completed my B.E. and M.S. in Nashville, TN, then lived in Boston for 3 years. Now I’m here in Amherst, MA. My accent is a total mess.”
