Community Service and Charity:
The Amherst Survival center helps the needy in our area. If you buy groceries at Stop and Shop regularly, you can order “gift cards” through the Survival center. Stop and Shop will then match 5% of your purchases to the Survival Center at no cost to you. If you think about it, it’s a great and easy way to give to charity.
Don’t throw away your furniture and clothing! Donate it here — it helps the needy and it’s very convenient to U Mass for deliveries.
The parks of the Mt Holyoke Range are beautiful in all seasons. Help preserve them and have fun in the process!
